The VidCAP USB2.0 connects to any laptop or desktop computer with a USB 2.0 port. It provides the same level of performance as an internal frame grabber with a 30 frame/second capture rate at full NTSC 640 x 480 pixel resolution. The VidCAP USB2.0 supports the popular Microsoft DirectShow® WDM format which makes it compatible with hundreds of commercial programs written for that standard.

The VidCAP USB2.0 includes Video Toolbox software which provides easy access to video and still image capture, labelling and measurement functions. With Video Toolbox, everything happens on the live image - making inspection faster and more efficient. Labels, markers, freehand notes, time stamps and simple measurements are seen right on the live image. hit the capture button and get a permanent record for the archive.

VidCAP USB2.0 provides inputs for your S-Video or Composite Video devices and converts the analog input into digital data for any software that supports the popular Microsoft DirectShow® WDM format.

Computer Requirements:

Pentium 1.8 GHz or faster
512+ MB of RAM Memory
Video card with 16 MB of video RAM, min 800 x 600 resolution at 16-bit (65,000 colours)
Windows 2000/XP or VISTA

In a benchtop application, when more light is needed or for all day use, we recommended the optional Luxxor® 24 Light Source (LXX24), a 24-watt metal-halide arc lamp, and the Luxxor® Light Guide (LXXLG).
